Spyderco 2016 Production Sample – Jumpmaster 2

The Jumpmaster 2 was a very nice surprise for me, especially since it’s a production sample! This means that we can expect the release of this design relatively soon. I don’t own the Jumpmaster, but this new fixed blade looked and handled very familiar. You see, I’m a big fan of the original Temperance fixed blades, and this new design looked and handled just like an older Temperance fixed blade. The handle slabs are made from FRN and feature a slightly contoured grip. The blade’s spine tapers down to a fine sharp tip, and the serrations seemed a bit more rounded than I’ve seen on previous H1 blades.

Overall Length: 23,5 cm / 9.25 inches
Blade Length: 11,5 cm / 4.52 inches
Blade Thickness: 3 mm / 0.11 inches
Weight: 151 grams / 5.32 ounces
