Finally we got to see a new version of the venerable Kiwi. Two versions were shown, one version in jigged bone with bolsters and a stepped blade profile, just like the original smaller kiwi, and this G-10 concept model with a smooth blade profile. I thought the enlarged design worked well in the hand. I’m so used to the smaller model, I figured this larger version would feel ‘off’ – it didn’t. Nice and light with a high-tech flair. This could be a nice utility folder, but the black did seem a bit boring. For this gent’s knife I’d personally prefer something like silver G10 or carbon fiber.

Definately, silver G-10 or Carbon fiber. Maybe carbon fiber like the G Bradley Air, but polish instead of the Air’s rougher carbon fiber. Love the Kiwi though with the ffg. Anything but another black handled knife, I mean really another black handled knife. Can we try to think outside the box once in a while. The Blue Carbon fiber looks nice too. Or stag, or jigged bone, please anything but black.
I imagine the length isn’t going to change, but not too bad. Please don’t make it larger, certainly no bigger. Is it less than 2 ozs?
This and the super blue delica are my favorites this year, but the delica has that frn handle 😦 You ask a non-knife person and they’ll just call it plastic.
What would be fine would be Folige Green G-10. Polished would be better.

I’m just the opposite. I think the black G10 with the silver fittings looks damn classy. Please, no more green or blue handle colors.
I like the g-10 handle, it has the best feel, but I think the colors might be good in addition to the black. Maybe black, light gray and blue?
Grey would be fine. Like the Delica’s frn’s Grey, but G-10, or polished G-10. I see so many black handled knifes. or a dark red wine color.
