Spyderco C101 Manix Lightweight Exclusive

This C101 Manix Lightweight is a Cutlery Shoppe Exclusive from 2017. I just love how that orange pops, and the S90V blade is nice too! The lightweight Manixes are very impressive folders, so much knife and cutting power due to their broad blades, in such a light package! The listed weight is around 82 grams or 2.9oz, and for that you get a 3.3 inch blade and an 8 inch overal length.

I like how the wire clip is -not- the foldover deep-carry type. With the current clip design, I can easily index the knife from my waistband and pop it out, a lot easier than if it had that deep-carry clip found on the UKPK for example.

If there’s one thing I’d like to improve is that the handle on the Lightweight Manix can feel a little ‘boxy’. The ergos are great and fully functional, your hand really locks onto the handle for an ultra-secure grip. But I can’t help thinking the knife could be a lot more comfy to carry and use if the handle’s edge were rounded and smooth, like on a Delica 4 for example.
