The Raven 2 is a new addition to the Byrd line. Even though Sal and Eric showed a few really fancy and expensive knives, they mentioned that they continue to want to provide good affordable working knives as well. The Raven 2 felt like a regular spydie to me. The fit and finish were very impressive and the knife had a linerlock with a good self-close and lock-up. The jimping on this sample could be a little sharper for me personally, but I also think the Taiwan made knives need sharper jimping – or none at all – so your mileage may vary. The Raven 2 was very impressive, especially for a Byrd knife.
